Metro Station Timiryazevskaya

The metro station Timiryazevsky has received the name under the area Timiryazevkyi name, and the area is named thanks to occupying big enough space of the Russian state agrarian university — the Moscow Agricultural Academy of a name of K.A.Timirjazev. Numerous pilot farms of academy are to the West from Dmitrovskoye highway. To the east the area Butyrsky which it is possible to name sleeping is located: in the street Milashenkova many many-storeyed apartment houses. Near to the metro station the high-rise inhabited complex "Timiryazevsky" consisting of three towers visible from apart is constructed. One more dominating building - hotel "Molodyozhnyi (Youth)" with the Cultural-entertaining Center "Molodaya Gvardiya (Young guards)". On the top floors of a building there is a restaurant with panoramic views. On Dmitrovskoye Highway, 13а it is possible to see cases of one of the system integrators largest in Russia - companies IBS (Information Business Systems ). Near to metro station Timiryazevskaya - terminal station Timiryazevskaya the Moscow monorail transport system. Because of low speed of movement and enough high price for the ticket many do not consider a monorail as a high-grade vehicle, and is faster as walking, it is possible to sweep to a television centre in Ostankino, by the Ostankinsky tower to the All-Russia Exhibition Centre (VVC).
